Patrick Mcdermott Wins the Democratic Nomination for Norfolk County Sheriff

Quincy, MA, September 4, 2020 – Patrick McDermott, candidate for Norfolk County Sheriff, has secured the Democratic nomination for Norfolk County Sheriff.

After the results were announced, McDermott said, “I want to thank the voters of Norfolk County and my supporters who worked so hard. I also want to thank my opponents, William Phelan and James Coughlin, for running a positive, issues-focused campaign. Our campaign was successful because voters believe in my expansive vision for public safety and understand that we cannot continue to talk about public safety if the public does not feel safe.”

“I look forward to a vigorous general election campaign and the opportunity to continue sharing my vision for Sheriff across the 28 towns and cities of Norfolk County. In November, I am confident that Norfolk County will “Pick Pat” for Sheriff,” he added.

The general election will take place on November 3rd.
